I'm part of the tournament community and I've almost won a few tournaments (curse you Godde!). I have to agree, the game is shaping up nicely. If your opponent isn't paying attention, you can also use enemy teleporters. They require positive energy to operate and can instantly teleport anywhere (even between planets). Teleporters are T1 and have to be connected to another teleporter to work.

Also radars are much cheaper but are as effective as their land based counterparts. The advanced orbital units (fighters, solar, laser) can only be built by an orbital fabber. Orbital defense satellites can be launched and All orbital buildings are much cheaper and can be built at T1. >T2 bot artillery was changed to be a sniper bot. Generally considered OP due to commander repair power. They cost more, but have a larger repair radius and have more health. They also didn't receive the cost reduction. They fire slower and have a higher arc but have an area of effect. T1 bombers drop one bomb on target, and are effective against raiders and artillery. You'll generally see a lot of groups of units moving around very early game. Gameplay overall is more 'spammy' and less deathball/teching. >Units and defenses cost less, but are less effective.
